Overview

Our office limits its practice areas to many different aspects of personal estate planning and personal business planning.

In doing so, we are fortunate to be able to encourage and welcome the active involvement of the client's professional advisors in our process. In fact, unlike many law firms, we sometimes will require the participation of the ancillary advisor disciplines before proceeding in our representation. We view you, not us, as the quarterback of the client's Estate & Business Planning Team.

Sometimes, areas of client concern will tend to overlap, crossing from one discipline into another. For example, the goal of asset protection and insulating one's property from seizure as the result of a lawsuit can arise in both the planning contexts for estate planning as well as planning to protect one's business.

As a result, we have developed a variety of subsidiary practice areas under the headings of personal estate and personal business planning. In addition, we have developed, in conjunction with Oxford Wealth Education Forum, Inc., a not-for-profit educational organization, a series of professional continuing education programs to assist our professional advisors in maintaining cutting-edge mastery of the most up-to-date planning tools available.

We take pride in our accomplishments in developing meaningful relationships with a plethora of advisors. We also take pride in being able to deliver both educational and innovative marketing tools and concepts for our professional advisors to assist them in increasing and further developing and enhancing their own particular practice areas.

The links to your left allow you to find the area of interest for all types of professional advisors. We offer you assistance in making referrals to our office in the most expeditious way for you and your clients. Upcoming client workshops, private briefings, educational programs are all available to you and in which you are able to enroll your client. These client programs are free to you and to your client -- and you can register your clients for them right online! We will follow up and deliver to them written confirmation of their registration and we will also forward to them a welcome kit.

In addition, please remember to visit our Professional Resource Center for a variety of helpful suggestions, including our invitation to you to join our monthly Covert Study Group. The Covert Study Group meets the third Tuesday of every month at 7:00 am in our office. Coffee, bagels & donuts are served. We cover a timely topic of interest to our advisors for one hour CE credit.
